Circumstances in the line with the current scenario have made me write to you on an urgent basis, an activity I had refrained from indulging in the past. The purpose of this mail is to warn institutions when the link personal relationships with professional associations.

The above-mentioned individual had a friendly and casual relationship with our director. He once called up our director to credit his account on an urgent basis assuring us that he had paid the amount in the bank. The director had already credited the account and was then on official tour. Nazrul again called up the CTO – Mr. Tejas Shah to credit his account. Unaware of the fact that the account had already been credited, the CTO again re-credited the account as he was aware of the personal relationship involved in this professional connection.

Once the credit was used, he stopped the traffic and did not continue with the relationship. On checking the amount in the bank and the credit used, there arose a discrepancy. We informed him of the same and awaited his response, not at all doubting his integrity. He had a long online discussion with our CTO and concluded that it was our mistake and he would not pay for the same. We had trusted him as a friend and given him credit without checking the bank payments, a procedure we normally don’t follow.
This mail is just to aware people of the kind of happenings in the market today. We don’t blame him for the faith he broke, but it was a loophole on our end to mix personal and professional spheres. We trusted upon the sanctity of friendship, not knowing that once the credit is given the person will turn a deaf ear.

Incase you happen to deal with this particular company, our word of caution would be, not to indulge in post-pay but take a risk on pre-pay. The person does not appreciate relations and would take advantage of the same.
